Recently, I was asked why our communities do not have the proper support network that is needed for new Muslims, disenfranchised Muslims & those who have lost the sense of belonging, my answer: “We do not remember Malcolm X. Malcolm had a system. If we had remembered Malcolm, we would have systems in place.
